Term 1 Trainings Schedule at NBCS

The German International School Sydney (GISS) is partnering with NBCS to expand access to its elite football program, delivered in collaboration with Germany’s Borussia Dortmund (BVB) — one of Europe’s leading clubs in both professional success and youth development. 

Through the GISS Football Academy, NBCS students can from 2026 train under the official BVB Academy methodology during Term 1, from 2 February to 2 April 2026 (9 weeks). Students may join one or two weekly sessions, with the option to add a third session depending on availability. All sessions held at GISS require the official BVB Training Kit, purchased separately.

The program focuses on technical fundamentals, ball mastery, coordination, game intelligence and decision-making, using modern German youth development principles to support players of all levels. Training is built around dynamic, game-like exercises that promote creativity and confidence, ensuring meaningful progress throughout the term. 

The fee for Term 1 is $395 per student, including registration and up to two weekly sessions. 

Please note that no training will be held on public holidays.

Term 1: 2 February – 2 April 2026 (9 Weeks)

NBCS students can join up to two training sessions per week but must commit to a minimum of one training session per week after signing up.

The BVB Training Uniform is mandatory for all sessions held at GISS and needs to be purchased separately.

Fees
Program Fee for Term 1 (9 weeks): $395 per student (incl. Registration Fee & GST) includes two training sessions per week. An additional third training session can be booked after enrolling depending on availability
