After completing my IB in 2020 I moved to Switzerland and prepared for the Numerus Clausus, which is similar to an aptitude test you must take in order to study Medicine in Switzerland. I was offered a place to study Medicine at the University of Bern. I am happy to be here in Bern, I have made some new friends and am enjoying the course, but I do miss family and friends in Australia, and I hope that I will be able to visit them sometime soon.
Since leaving GISS I completed an internship at SOS Kinderdorf Zentrum Dulsberg, Hamburg which was a truly heart-warming experience. Currently I am studying Film/Media, English Literature and Culture at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and am living a crazy life at a student fraternity. I have also joined the Film Specialists student body. I am extremely happy and loving this stage of my life.
Ob ihr als Schülerin oder Schüler euren Abschluss gemacht habt, als Mitarbeiterin oder Mitarbeiter in den Ruhestand getreten seid, oder einfach nur ein paar Jahre eures Lebens hier an der GISS verbracht habt, ihr alle habt zu der für unsere Schule einzigartigen multikulturellen und fürsorglichen Kultur beigetragen und Gemeinschaft erlebt.
