After completing my IB in 2020 I moved to Switzerland and prepared for the Numerus Clausus, which is similar to an aptitude test you must take in order to study Medicine in Switzerland. I was offered a place to study Medicine at the University of Bern. I am happy to be here in Bern, I have made some new friends and am enjoying the course, but I do miss family and friends in Australia, and I hope that I will be able to visit them sometime soon.
Since leaving GISS I completed an internship at SOS Kinderdorf Zentrum Dulsberg, Hamburg which was a truly heart-warming experience. Currently I am studying Film/Media, English Literature and Culture at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and am living a crazy life at a student fraternity. I have also joined the Film Specialists student body. I am extremely happy and loving this stage of my life.
Whether you've graduated as a student, retired as a member of staff, or simply spent a few years of your life here at GISS, you have all contributed to and experienced the multi-cultural and caring culture that is unique to our school.
