The Interschools Snowsports Championships took place at Perisher during the Winter school holidays, with this year’s competition being larger than ever.
A total of 1,240 students from 122 schools across Sydney competed in five snow sports disciplines: Ski Alpine, Ski Cross, Ski Moguls, Snowboard Giant Slalom, and Snowboard Cross.
Our four dedicated students – Chloe S (Year 8), Emilia K (Year 6), Isaac M (Year 7) & Noah B (Year 12) - competed in Ski Alpine, Ski Cross, and Ski Moguls.
Congratulations to all of them for participating in this exciting and highly competitive environment, especially in the face of challenging weather conditions!
A special shoutout to Noah, who represented our school at the NSW/ACT/QLD State Championships from August 19–23, 2024, in Perisher. Competing against students from schools across Australia, Noah showcased his skills in two challenging disciplines – Moguls and Slopestyle. He scored 9th place in Moguls and 17th in Slopestyle.
Each year, over 7,000 students from nearly 700 schools across the country participate in various disciplines, including Alpine, Ski Cross, Moguls, Snowboard GS, Snowboard Cross, Cross Country, and Ski/Snowboard Slopestyle, during the Interschools Snowsport Championships from July through September.
