Dear Member,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I extend our invitation to the 

33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the German International School Sydney 

on Thursday, 30th July 2020 at 7.30 pm at 33 Myoora Road, Terrey Hills.

This year has been a challenging year with the need to swiftly react to the ever-changing circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. On behalf of the Board I would like to thank you for supporting us to overcome these challenges during this semester. This health crisis required a lot of sacrifice, understanding and resilience from the whole school community. I would like to extend a special thank you to the teachers. Their relentless effort during the pandemic has been admirable.

Enclosed with this invitation is the formal Notice of Meeting, the agenda for the AGM, a proxy form and the minutes of the last AGM held in May 2019.

The Annual Report including the Financial Statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2019 will be sent to you via email in due course.

The upcoming AGM will be a great opportunity for the members to come together – either in person or online (further information in relation to the ‘hybrid’ structure of the AGM is set out in the enclosed Notice of Meeting) – and to engage in discussions and ask questions to the Board.

I encourage you to use the enclosed proxy form to exercise your right to vote (the proxy form must be received no later than by 7:30 pm on 28 July 2020).

I hope for the interest of all members in the affairs of the German International School Sydney and look forward to welcoming you at the AGM, either in person or online.
