Program

Extend, has partnered with GISS to provide an enriching ASC program starting term 1, 2024. Extend is Australia's largest family-owned Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provider. Extend offers a chance for children to learn and play in a fun and supported environment. Extend’s After School Care program, develop and nurture young minds with science, cooking, sport and imaginative play. Children’s interests and ideas are central to its programs, customised under the My Time Our Place School Aged Care framework.


General Information

  • After School Care (ASC) hours: Monday to Friday from 3:15 pm until 6:00 pm. Afternoon tea is included
  • Kindergarten to Year 6
  • ASC is located in the Elisabeth Selbert Building next to the GISS library 
  • Vacation Care hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are included

Vacation Care Dates

Extend will also offer a vacation care (VC) program at GISS starting April 2024. Unfortunately, Extend won’t be able to offer a holiday program during the upcoming Christmas holidays.
