We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of Silke Bethke and the GISS Preschool team, who have been shortlisted for the Excellence in Early STEM Education Award as part of the 2026 Little Scientists Early STEM Education Awards.

Recognised as Runner-up in New South Wales

Following a record number of nominations from across Australia, the Preschool team’s nomination was recognised as the runner-up in New South Wales.

While their project was not selected as the state winner, being shortlisted is a significant achievement and reflects the high quality of their nomination and the dedication behind their work.

Celebrating Early STEM Education

The Little Scientists Early STEM Education Awards recognise educators who inspire young children through STEM learning. Being shortlisted among educators from across Australia is a wonderful recognition and a proud moment for the GISS community.
