Playgroup from 0 to 3 Years

Children want to perceive, as well as recognise and understand differences. At playgroup we start and end each meeting with a sing along. In free time each child chooses an activity to try out and to then repeat as long as they would like to. We also offer craft and game activities.

The parent’s role is active observer. They give their child confidence through their presence; discover what they can already do themselves and stand by the motto “help me do it myself”.

The pedagogical concept of Playgroup is closely linked to that of Preschool. This makes the transition to Preschool significantly easier. Playgroup children also have preference on the Preschool waiting list.

We currently have two playgroups who meet either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9.30-11.00 in the music room. The cost is $40 per term.
